As you know, informing my clients well about cosmetic and aesthetic procedures has always been one of my priorities and since the beginning of my practice I have always developed documents to inform you about the different procedures.
Today I would like to share with you the latest news and trends in the field of cosmetic medicine and surgery. There are currently no statistics concerning the most popular procedures in Quebec or in Canada. However, in the United States recent data is available and reflects what I see in my clinic.
Breast augmentation continues to be the most popular cosmetic surgical procedure, and has been since 2006.
According to the very famous Am Society of Plastic Surgeon, breast augmentation is thecosmetic surgery most often performed followed by liposuction (3% increase since 2018), eyelid surgery (2% increase), nose (-3%) and finally facelift of the face (2% increase).
