The Volux & Belkyra combination

The Volux & Belkyra combination

Until the arrival on the market of the Volux-Belkyra solution to reshape the chin, jaw or eliminate the double chin, the intervention of the surgeon with general anesthesia was required.

What is Volux?

Volux is a new product from the Allergan laboratory. Volux is the product which is used specifically for facial shape and contours. It is new for 2019 and was launched by the laboratory at the AMWC congress held in Monaco. Volux is the latest evolution in facial filler treatments for a more defined jawline. It has been specifically formulated to create volume on the chin.

The product is in the form of a sterile physiological gel of cross-linked hyaluronic acid. Its origin is non-animal and it comes in the form of a graduated syringe which is pre-filled and is single use. The product is composed of:

  • Hyaluronic acid gel
  • Lidocaine hydrochloride
  • Phosphate buffer

In the Vycross range, Volux is the product which has very high elasticity qualities. It can be injected into the tip of the chin, the chin and the angle of the jaw.

Volux is an excellent alternative to surgical techniques such as cervico-facial lifting, prosthesis implantation and lipolifting.

What is Belkyra?

Belkyra is also a double chin treatment without the need for surgery. It helps correct and dissolve fat located under the chin. It therefore improves the definition of your chin and jawline. The active ingredient in the Belkyra product is deoxycholic acid. This is a molecule that is present in our body. Its role is to absorb fats from our body.

It is a treatment that acts on the cell membrane. The fat cells are then dissolved in the subcutaneous membrane. Then glycerol and fatty acids are metabolized as a source of energy by the liver. The main function of deoxycholic acid is to target and eliminate fat cells. This is why you feel inflammation after the injection. Which will then make your double chin disappear so that you will have a more defined neck without scars.

What are the effects of the combination of Volux & Belkyra?

Volux and Belkyra are two products aimed at eliminating a double chin. Volux allows you to reshape the face. That is to say, it will help you redefine the bone structure and bone contour of your face. As for the Belkyra product, the injection will dissolve the fat in your chin while redefining the cavity located between your mandible and your neck.

The result of the Volux and Belkyra combination is simply spectacular! You will feel like you are seeing your face from a few years ago.
